I would plant Spotted Dead Nettle, Lamium Maculatum ‘Purple Dragon’, for the foliage alone, so it’s a bonus that the flowers are lovely as well.

An herbaceous perennial, it spreads readily and is easily divided. At only a few inches tall it makes a beautiful ground cover, complementing just about anything you might plant around it.
