We buy our food in season.
Fruits, veggies, and, of course, donuts.
Cider donuts are one of the world’s great inventions. Best of all, they can be frozen and enjoyed year-round. We buy a few dozen when we go apple picking, stack them flat in ziploc bags, and reheat briefly in the microwave throughout the winter. Not quite the same as freshly fried on a crisp autumn day, but a damn close second.
Haven’t tried cider donuts yet, but we have an amazing donut shop that makes luscious, huge donuts! Mmmm!
